Prelude strings
Led by Goran Ivanov, the Prelude Strings is the first level Orchestra students can join. Once a student completes A Tune A Day Book One, their teacher may recommend they join the Prelude Strings, where they will have the opportunity to play their instrument alongside students at the same level.

This group primarily focuses on learning to follow a conductor and developing appropriate ensemble etiquette. It is generally the first time a student transitions from individual practice with only a music stand, to a live performance space with musicians to the left and right of them. It takes an incredible amount of effort to learn the coordination it takes to play your part while ensuring you're following the conductor and staying up to tempo with everyone around you.

Under the direction of Goran Ivanov, this is the secondary performance group students are able to join within the Conservatory. This group focuses on tonality and quality of sound. Students explore progressively advanced and complex pieces, as well as the importance of dynamics, different playing styles, and how to implement musical phrasing from a sheet of music.
Often considered one of the most memorable experiences of a student's development at the Corona Symphony Conservatory, this group prepares students for what is to come in the third level orchestra - the Corona Youth Symphony.

The Conservatory's most advanced ensemble, the Corona Youth Symphony, under the baton of Goran Ivanov and Lori Bonner, focuses on creating a full and colorful sound.

Having achieved a greater fluency on their instrument, students are now challenged to execute refined phrasing, harmonic blending, a wider range of dynamics, and intricately nuanced communication with the conductor.
